Women of Virtue Empowerment Network (WOVEN) has ongoing FREE support classes for women on topics such as parenting, marriage, conflict resolution, building a woman's confidence, etc. Open to all women in the Imperial Valley. Imperial County Office of Education in collaboration with Imperial County Behavioral Health Department is currently offering Parenting classes for families in the Imperial Valley. The Nurturing Parenting Program offers services for Families with Children 0-19. There are 3 groups: Parents with children 0-5yrs old, Parent and their school age children 6-12yrs old, and Parent and Adolescents 13-19. The classes are concurrently for parent and children and are conducted at schools and other places in the community like Family Resource Centers and at churches.The services are free and facilitated in English and Spanish. For more information regarding upcoming classes or to sign up for a class, families can contact us at 760-353-1760 or 760-353-1548.
